Marduk and Hasana

We have named our little darlings Hasana and Marduk.

“Marduk” was born on the 13-05-2013 under the sign of the Taurus. The sign for Taurus is the bull and the name Marduk literally translates to ‘bull calf of the sun.’ In Sumerian mythology Marduk was a deity of fertility and storms. He was patron deity of the city of Babylon and referred to as Bel-Marduk (Bel meaning ‘Lord’)

The name “Hasana” is of African Swahili origin and means ‘first born of twins’
Although we do not know if Hasana was born before or after her brother, they were the first born cavies in the Enchanted Kingdom Cavy Stud and they are indeed twins.

I proudly introduced my new babies to hubby, my daughter, little sis and Mum. Of course Tash came round to check them out and declared them adorable. Even Zavier was introduced to his offspring. Needless to say, they enchanted everyone.

Our paperwork has also come through, confirming that we have been granted our first preference for stud-prefix. Tash and I now share the 'Kingdom' pre-fix. This is a very exciting milestone for us!
